子供の頃、ゼニガメを洗面器に入れて庭で飼っていた。真冬の朝、洗面器の水が完全に凍っていた。
氷を日なたに置いて解けるのを待ち、中のゼニガメを助けたが、まったく動かず、死んでしまった。

泣きながら庭に埋め、ごめんね、ごめんねと何度も謝った。

でも、春になったらゾンビのように復活して土から出てきた。
